Day 29

Evan was out of school today so we went to a living museum we have near here. We have a membership and the kids LOVE it there. I took all kinds of pictures of the kids looking at fish, touching crabs, and generally exploring, but like I said, we go there all of the time, so it wasn't anything different than I already had. When we went to the car I thought about the fact that I hadn't taken pics of my kids in their car seats in awhile, and since I am a very strong believer of extended rear facing and extended harnessing, I figured I would take that time to snap a couple of shots. I like to take a pic from time to time to show that yes, Lauren is tall, but she is still VERY happy rear facing at almost 3 years old! (she turns 3 next week!)

Evan, 5 years, 11 months old, 46lbs, 46.75in tall.

Still HAPPILY Rearfacing at almost 3 years old. She is 36in tall, and roughly 27lbs.

Day 28

This is how I caught her watching tv.

Day 27

Lauren started her new gymnastics session and she was SO excited. She absolutely loves to go to gymnastics. Anyone who knows us knows all too well that Lauren will not allow you to do anything at all to her hair (sometimes we are lucky to even get to brush it!) Well I asked her if we could try a pony tail to keep her hair out of her eyes at gymnastics and she was all for it! This pony tail lasted a whole hour!

Day 26

Buster decided the Dora couch was his. Luckily Lauren didn't see him or we would have been in for a HUGE tantrum!

Day 25 After the rain is gone

I couldn't resist trying to get some shots of the clouds. It went from a torrential rain in the morning to bright and sunny within minutes.

Day 25

I guess E was right, because THIS is what we woke up to this morning. Luckily I got enough of a break in the rain to run him to school. L decided to do a little puddle jumping when we got back to the house. Yes, her boots are on the wrong feet, but hey, at least she has them ON.

Day 24

The clouds started rolling in yesterday. It was nice and warm for a January day though (mid 60's!) but I couldn't get the kids out to play because E told me it "looked like rain."
